Ideally, the best way for your dog to be trained is by YOU! However, there are many cases where this isn't possible. Whether it be a busy work schedule, visitors in town, or you just lack the patience for the training, we are happy to offer Boarding School training where we will do the work for you.

Our Boarding School training program is much different than other dog training companies. What sets us apart is that your dog will live in the trainer's home for the entire length of the program, not in a dog shelter!  During this time your dog will learn basic obedience, socialization, potty-training, and general good manners around the house. By conducting most of the training in a home setting, your dog will go home with more than just obedience, but also with basic manners for daily living around your house.

Because we limit our Boarding School program to just a few dogs at a time, we are able to offer more training sessions, more play time, more free time, and less stress. And because we do this in the trainer's home, your dog won't forget how to behave when they go back to your 'home'. This also means we book up at a moments notice.

Our training programs are 4 weeks long for a reason. This allows us enough time to fully address behavioral problems, socialize, and obedience train your dog so that new behaviors become more ingrained into your dog's memory.

For those puppy owners, the length of the stay is to make sure your puppy has the time to learn the multitude of manners, skills, and confidence we need to introduce without risking a loss of motivation. You can't rush perfection!

We offer private lessons at our place near 16th street and Carefree Hwy.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BOARDING SCHOOL TRAINEE

7:00 a.m. - Out for first potty-break and playtime (1 hour)

8:00 a.m. - Quiet time

8:30 a.m. - Field trips for select trainees and breakfast afterwards

10:00 a.m. - Play and potty time, play-training takes place (1 hour)

11:00 a.m. - Nap time. Formal training at this time

2:30 p.m. - More play time & more play-training (1 hour)

3:30 p.m. - Play break over, time for more formal training, field trips

5:00 p.m. - Dinner

6:00 p.m. - More play time & more play-training (1 hour)

9:30 p.m. - Last chance to potty and play. (45 minutes)

10:15 - Bedtime

Note that this is the average day, however times do vary depending on weather and season. Multiple 10 minute training sessions are performed throughout the day.
